In 1950, Lincoln continued the 1949 bodies, with a grille redesign being the primary distinction, and produced the same series, but introduced trim options in the form of the Lido coupe in the smaller 0EL series, and the Capri coupe in the 0EH Cosmopolitan series, which were brought out to compete with the newly popular hardtop coupes being sold by General Motors; their most distinctive feature was the addition of vinyl tops.
Lincoln produced 17,489 of the smaller cars and 10,701 of the larger cars; the smaller sedan was the most popular, with 11,741 units produced. Wheelbase and power remained the same.
The Cosmopolitan fastback Town Sedan was eliminated from the lineup, and the smaller convertible was dropped from the lineup, while the Cosmopolitan convertible weighed 4,640 pounds and sold for $3,950.00.
